Sales Representative

We’re looking for results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. 


  • Selling products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers

  • Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers

  • Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales.

  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers

  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling

  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.


  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or Purchasing and supply management.

  • A minimum of 5 years in sales and distribution within the FMCG Industry.

  • Working knowledge in the respective area will be an added advantage.

  • Possession of a clean and valid driving license.

  • Practical experience in use of MS packages and ERP systems.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office

  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Relationships and working contacts

  • Internal – Sales and distribution, finance, marketing and warehousing.

  • External – Consumers, Drinks Venues, HORECA, Modern Trade, distributors, stockists.

Work Environment

This is a field based role with minimal office duties.
